Jasmine
started her horse riding career late on in her childhood at the age of 11. She started riding lessons at Heathlands Riding
Establishment, Wokingham where she learnt to walk trot and canter. Unfortunately this was developed into a livery yard which
meant all the riding horses where sold on.
Jasmine then moved to Rycroft School of Equitation, Eversley where she
began to jump small fences and had her first major involvement in the horse industry. She began working every Saturday
8am-5pm and every Friday after school, her love and dedication was clear at this point.
Jasmines took part in her
first competition at Rycroft and managed to come 2nd in the dressage phase of the event. Unfortunately Jasmine decided she
no longer wanted to be at Rycroft, this is when she moved to Clouds riding stables, Arbourfield and began to jump slightly
bigger and have more challenging rides, and it was then that she set out on her search to find a loan horse.
Mac
was Jasmine's 1st pony, and he taught her everything about riding and looking after your own pony, Jasmine owes this little
pony everything! Unfortunately she out grew Mac so began to look for a horse to buy, she tried 2 before she found 'the
one' the horse of a life time this was Cicero.
Jasmine currently studies at Merrist Wood College and manages
to juggle college and looking after her own horses and riding project horses carefully! The average day starts at 6.30am when
she arrives at her yard and finishes at 8pm after she has finished college and ridden, it's a long day but stays dedicated
and never fails to make her way down the yard to care and exercise her horses.
